Demon Boss

Good Game! Even tho I’m not a part of the jam, I can’t resit play testing an indie game and giving my feedback!

I really like the game’s art! It does work well, and while more frames for animation would be amazing to really bring to life the crouching state for exemple, I do think sound effects is the most important part that is missing, because it would add a LOT to the game reactivity and feel ^o^ ! You can use software like sfxr witch was made for making easy sound effect in game-jam. I can also recommand bosca ceoil to make custom music if you have no idea where to start :D

The starting menu is well design and well balanced! It feels like it’s missing a few things in UI tho: a tutorial / controls, credits and/ or a ending screen. If you want, you can just have the controls pop up on the main scene and disappear, or put the controls on the top left ! They are quite well choosen. But one BIG POSITIVE on this game that is a indicator of good graphics: we can’t recognise that it was made in GODOT. Mayeb it’s just because I havn’t made that many godot games, but either way the fact that I don’t recognise the game engine show an attention to details

It’s an amazing first game jam game! Well done!
